My dad woke me up today at a delightful 8:30 so the whole family could gather together around the Labor Day tree and unwrap our presents. Just kidding. So I could do my AP Physics WebAssign and work on preparing for the ACT. When I went downstairs for breakfast, they had gotten me a bagel sandwich kinda thingy, which was a super-awesome way to start the day.

Aaaaaaand that was pretty much the extent of my day. My dad went to work in his office to get ahead, and my mom and brother went to one of his baseball games. It was nice having the house to myself. I worked on schoolstuffz until my dad came home, and we got some lunch together. Father-son bonding = purrty fantastic! He went back to work after lunch, and I played with Manny–our dog–outside.
While I was working on the computer, I found a song: “Hallelujah” by Jeff Buckley. It has probably become one of my favorite songs, in a matter of a few hours. My favorite genre of music is hardcore punk, but this song is just so sweet and sad I can’t resist. Apparently Mr. Buckley was born in Orange County, California. I’m assuming his reanimated corpse will be featured on The Hills soon.
At around 5 o’clock, my mom, dad, and brother all got home at close to the same time, and we had some emm effing deLICious frozen pizza for dinner. It was the deep dish kinda deal (ooo big spender!!).
After dinner I was paid a visit by Miss Hamer, a delightful lass who just can’t seem to resist my charms. But it’s mutual, so I suppose s’all good.
She helped me pick outfits for my senior pictures. I am forever indebted for her fashion sense.
Today was a good day to be alive. If you read all the way to the end of this, may tomorrow be one of the best days of your life.
Peace out.
